Our class had a busy day today. We broke the number 28 apart and defined vertical, horizontal, & diagonal lines. Then we recounted The Great Kapok Tree, determined the central lesson (All living things depend on each other), and explained how this lesson was conveyed through key details in the text.
In our green folders, we got the 500 Book Challenge sheet which will serve as the Reading Log. In addition, three field trip permission slips were sent home: Hagley, White Clay Creek, and Dr. Alpine and Repetto’s orthodontist’s office.
Great job, Pandas!
